Vendor Terms

What a vendor agrees to when it joins VenueScout and answers tenders.

Draft for legal review — not yet approved by counsel. Version 0.1-draft · 2026-10-23. Text in [square brackets] is a placeholder the owner must fill in.

Joining and verification

Vendors register a business profile. New vendors are reviewed by our team before they are shown as verified. You confirm that the business details and any documents you upload are genuine and that you may offer the services you list.

Tenders and quotes

Organisers publish tenders; vendors reply with quotes. A quote is an offer valid for the period it states. When the organiser accepts it, you are expected to deliver what the quote says at the price it says.

Conduct

Be accurate about prices, equipment and availability. Do not post misleading offers, harass organisers or other vendors, or use contact details except to answer the request they came from.

Fees

VenueScout charges the fees shown on the pricing page and in your console at the time of the booking. [Final fee schedule, memberships and VAT treatment — to be confirmed].

Payments and refunds

Payments made through VenueScout follow the refund policy.

Data

Organisers' details are shared with you to answer a request. Use them only for that. See the privacy notice.

Suspension

We may suspend or remove a vendor profile for breach of these terms, repeated complaints or false documents.
