How do the fees work?
VenueScout charges a success fee on a confirmed venue booking and on an awarded tender, and a booking fee added at checkout on each paid ticket. Premium listing and Vendor membership and verification are paid plans: premium listing KES 7,500 a month, vendor membership KES 2,500 a month and verification KES 5,000 once (illustrative prices). Illustrative rates, confirmed before launch.
How do I pay with M-Pesa?
At ticket checkout you enter your M-Pesa number and approve the prompt on your phone. Receipts and e-tickets with QR codes are issued once the payment is confirmed. Demo payments: M-Pesa runs in simulate mode, so no real money moves.
What is the 3D view?
Event Map by VenueScout models a venue at true scale. You can walk it, see the view from a seat, lay the room out for your guest count and share a link for the client to approve. Venues modelled so far are marked on their listing.
How do I claim my venue?
Create a venue account, find your listing or add it, and submit a claim. The team verifies it before it is marked as claimed, after which you can edit the listing, reply to enquiries and request a 3D model.
Who can review a venue?
Only organisers who accepted one of the venue's proposals. Reviews come from verified bookings, never from anonymous visitors, and the venue can reply publicly.
